I’m Sunil. I write code, I make electronic music that comes out of Indian classical training, and I co-founded a startup. I’ve spent a lot of time travelling, mostly sitting in cafés talking to people I’d never meet again.

What I took from that is simple. People everywhere are asking the same few things in different words. And the closer I looked at anything, the less separate it seemed from everything else.

Psychedelics are part of that. Not as a shortcut and not as a personality. They showed me that how I normally see the world is one setting, not the whole of it. Living with that has been harder and more interesting than the experience itself.

I write here about the places where things overlap. Tech and philosophy. Music and meaning. What travel does to home. I also work with people early in building something, mostly by asking questions.
